South African Fashion Week hosted their Designer Preview at Edgars in Melrose Arch. Off course I was there to get a glimpse of the Spring/Summer 2014 collection for my readers.
With local designers such as Sies! isabelle, Sober, Love Jozi, Black Coffee, Gert Johan Coetzee, Larisa Moda, Cutterier, Rubicon, Jacqui Emmanuel, Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs and Casey Jeanne there were enough top class tailored designs to choose from.
Monochrome colour combinations were very popular such as black and white, turquoise and black, white and red and floral prints combined with monochrome colour schemes very popular. Pastel pinks and whites also stood out.
Fabrics with a lot of detail in them and lace were very popular.
The night ended off with a goodie bag for each attendee filled with spoils from sponsors such as Tresemme, Revlon and Grazia Magazine.
